Dear Lord, just as the natives showed uncommon kindness to Paul and his companions by kindling a fire and receiving them all, I pray that you will also show me uncommon kindness. Please provide for my needs and protect me from the elements, just as you did for Paul and his companions during the present rain and cold. I claim the promise that you will never leave me nor forsake me, and I trust that you will always be with me, guiding me and providing for me. Thank you for your unfailing love and faithfulness. Amen.
