Dear Lord, help us to be like the early Christians who sold their possessions and goods and distributed them to those in need. Give us the heart to be generous and compassionate towards others, and to always be willing to help those who are less fortunate than us. May we never be selfish or greedy, but always seek to serve others as you have served us. Help us to be a blessing to those around us, and to bring glory to your name through our actions. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
