Prayer based on Acts 2:30. Themes: Prophets, Oath, Christ
Dear Heavenly Father,
As a believer in your word, I claim the promise that you made to your servant David. You swore with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh, you would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne.
I believe that Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of this promise, and I thank you for sending him to be our Savior and King. I pray that you would help me to live my life in a way that honors and glorifies him.
May I always remember the great sacrifice that Jesus made for me, and may I never take for granted the salvation that he has provided. Thank you for your faithfulness and for keeping your promises.
In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh, he would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne,
