Praying from Acts 22:7. Themes: Redemption, Persecution, Conversion.
Dear God,
As I journey through life, I pray that I may always be open to hearing your voice. Just as Saul fell to the ground and heard your voice, I pray that I too may have a moment of clarity and hear your voice speaking to me.
Help me to recognize when I am going astray and persecuting others, and guide me back onto the right path. May I always be mindful of your presence in my life and strive to live in a way that is pleasing to you.
Thank you for your constant love and guidance, and for always being there to pick me up when I fall. I pray that I may continue to grow in my faith and be a shining example of your love to those around me.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me,‘ Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?’
Acts 22:7
This is a Command. The command is implied in the question “why are you persecuting me?” which implies that the reader should stop persecuting.
