Prayer based on Luke 8:8. Themes: Fruitfulness, Hearing, Growth

Dear Lord,

May we be like the seed that fell into the good ground and grew abundantly, producing a hundred times as much fruit. Help us to have ears to hear your words and to understand your teachings. May we be receptive to your guidance and may our hearts be fertile ground for your love and grace to grow.

We pray that you would cultivate in us a spirit of generosity and abundance, that we may bear fruit that glorifies your name and blesses those around us. May our lives be a testimony to your goodness and may we be a source of hope and encouragement to others.

Thank you for your constant provision and care, and for the gift of your Son, who gave his life so that we may have eternal life. May we always be mindful of your love and grace, and may we live our lives in a way that honors you.

In Jesus’ name we pray,

Amen.
