Prayer based on Acts 13:21. Themes: Kingship, Obedience, Leadership
Dear God, thank you for your faithfulness in providing for your people. As I read in 1 Samuel 8:5, the Israelites asked for a king, and you gave them Saul, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, to lead them for forty years. I claim the promise that you will always provide for me and guide me in the right direction. Help me to trust in your plan for my life and to seek your will above all else. Thank you for your love and provision. Amen.
Verse: Afterward they asked for a king, and God gave to them Saul the son of Kish, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, for forty years.
