Dear God, I thank you for choosing our fathers and exalting our people when we were aliens in the land of Egypt. I claim the promise that with an uplifted arm, you led us out of it. Lord, I pray that you continue to lead us out of any situation that may be holding us captive. May we always trust in your power and guidance, knowing that you will never leave us nor forsake us. Thank you for your faithfulness and love towards us. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Acts 13:17

This is a Promise. The verse is stating that God chose and exalted the people of Israel, and led them out of Egypt with an uplifted arm. There is no command given to the reader.
