Praying from 2 Timothy 4:3 relating to False teachers, Apostasy, Deception
Dear Lord, please help us to always listen to sound doctrine and not be swayed by our own desires. May we seek out teachers who will guide us in your truth and not just those who tell us what we want to hear. Protect us from the temptation of following false teachings and help us to stay grounded in your word. Amen.
Verse: For the time will come when they will not listen to the sound doctrine, but having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts,
2 Timothy 4:3
This is a Command. The verse is warning the reader to be cautious of false teachers and to continue to listen to sound doctrine.
