Dear God,

Thank you for the gift of your word and the guidance it provides. As I read through the second letter, I pray that you stir up my sincere mind and remind me of your truth. Help me to stay focused on your will and to live a life that is pleasing to you. May your word be a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. I pray that you continue to guide me and strengthen me as I seek to follow you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
