Praying from 2 John 1:3 relating to Grace, mercy, peace

Dear God the Father and Lord Jesus Christ, I come before you today claiming the promise of grace, mercy, and peace that you have promised to us. I thank you for your unfailing love and for the truth that you have revealed to us through your Son. I pray that you would pour out your grace upon me, that I may be strengthened and empowered to live a life that is pleasing to you. I ask for your mercy, that you would forgive me of my sins and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. And I pray for your peace, that it would fill my heart and mind, and that I would be able to rest in the knowledge of your love and care for me. Thank you for your faithfulness and for the promise of your presence with us always. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
