Praying from 2 Timothy 1:2 relating to Grace, mercy, peace
Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before you today claiming the promise of grace, mercy, and peace that you have given to us through your son, Jesus Christ. Just as Paul prayed for Timothy, I pray that you would pour out your grace, mercy, and peace upon me.
May your grace be sufficient for me in every situation, and may your mercy cover my sins and shortcomings. And may your peace that surpasses all understanding guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Thank you for your unfailing love and faithfulness, and for the promise of your presence with me always. I trust in your goodness and your power to sustain me, and I give you all the praise and glory.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
