Praying from 2 Corinthians 4:17. Themes: Suffering, Glory, Eternity.
Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory. I claim this promise over my life and ask that you help me to endure any afflictions that come my way. May I always remember that these trials are temporary and that they are working for my good. I pray that you would help me to keep my eyes fixed on the eternal glory that awaits me, and that I would never lose hope or faith in your promises. Thank you for your love and faithfulness, and for the assurance that you are always with me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
