Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that we don’t faint even though our outward person is decaying. I claim this promise today and ask for your strength to keep me going. I pray that my inward person is renewed day by day, that I may continue to grow in faith and love for you. Help me to focus on the eternal rather than the temporary, and to trust in your unfailing love and grace. Thank you for your faithfulness and for the hope that you give us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
