Praying from 1 Corinthians 15:19. Themes: Hope, Christ, Pitiable.

Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that if we have hoped in Christ in this life, we will not be pitiable. I claim this promise today and declare that my hope is in you alone. I trust in your unfailing love and your faithfulness to fulfill all your promises. Help me to keep my eyes fixed on you and to live a life that honors you. May my hope in you be a source of strength and joy, even in the midst of trials and difficulties. Thank you for the hope that you have given me through your son, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Verse: If we have only hoped in Christ in this life, we are of all men most pitiable.
1 Corinthians 15:19

This is a Promise. The verse is a statement that if one’s hope is only in Christ in this life, they are to be pitied above all others. It does not contain a command.
