Dear God, we acknowledge that we have felt the weight of death within ourselves. We recognize that this feeling is a reminder that we should not rely on our own strength and abilities, but instead put our trust in you, the one who has the power to raise the dead. Help us to remember this truth and to turn to you in all circumstances. Amen.
