Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that you have given us through your word. I claim the promise that we write no other things to you than what you read or even acknowledge, and I hope you will acknowledge to the end. I pray that you will help me to always seek your truth and to acknowledge it in my life. May I never be led astray by false teachings or distractions. I trust in your faithfulness and ask for your guidance as I continue to seek your will. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

This is a Promise. The verse is assuring the reader that the writer is only sharing what they have already acknowledged and that they hope the reader will continue to acknowledge it as well.
