Prayer based on Luke 10:26. Themes: Law, Interpretation, Knowledge

Dear Lord, as I come before you today, I ask that you guide me in understanding your word. Just as you asked the man in the scripture, “What is written in the law? How do you read it?” I pray that you would open my eyes to see the truth in your word and give me the wisdom to apply it to my life. Help me to read your word with a heart that is open to your teachings and a mind that is receptive to your guidance. May your word be a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
