Praying from 1 Thessalonians 5:20 relating to Prophecy, Faith, Discernment

Dear God, I pray that I will never despise prophecies. Help me to have an open heart and mind to receive the messages that you have for me through your prophets. May I always be willing to listen and obey your word, and may I never reject the guidance and direction that you provide through your chosen messengers. Thank you for your love and grace, and for the gift of prophecy that helps us to better understand your will for our lives. Amen.

Verse: Don’t despise prophecies.
1 Thessalonians 5:20
