Praying from 1 Thessalonians 5:12 relating to Community, Leadership, Accountability.
Dear Lord, we humbly come before you and ask for your guidance and wisdom. Help us to know and recognize those who labor among us, who are over us in the Lord and who admonish us. Give us discernment to see their hearts and their dedication to you. May we honor and respect them as they lead us in your ways. We pray that you would bless them and their families, and give them strength and courage to continue serving you faithfully. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Verse: But we beg you, brothers, to know those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord and admonish you,
1 Thessalonians 5:12
This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to know those who are in leadership positions in their church and to heed their admonishments.
