Praying from 1 Peter 2:7 relating to Belief, Disobedience, Rejection
Dear Lord,
I come before you today with a heart full of faith and belief in your promises. I thank you for the honor that you have bestowed upon me as a believer in your word. I pray that you continue to strengthen my faith and guide me on the path of righteousness.
I claim the promise that you have given us in your word, that “The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone.” I know that you have a plan for my life, and that even when others may reject me, you have chosen me to be a part of your kingdom.
I pray for those who are disobedient, that they may come to know you and experience the honor that comes with believing in your word. May they also come to understand the significance of the cornerstone and the role it plays in our lives.
Thank you for your love and grace, and for the promises that you have given us. I trust in you and your plan for my life, and I pray that I may always honor you in all that I do.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: For you who believe therefore is the honor, but for those who are disobedient,“The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone,”
1 Peter 2:7
This is a Promise. The verse is stating that for those who believe, honor is given, but for those who are disobedient, the stone that was rejected by builders has become the most important. This is a promise of honor for believers and a warning for those who are disobedient.
