Dear God, we come before you today and ask for your guidance and protection. We know that idols can distract us from your love and lead us down the wrong path. Please help us to keep our hearts and minds focused on you, and to resist the temptation to worship anything or anyone else. Give us the strength to turn away from anything that might lead us astray, and to always seek your will in our lives. We pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: Little children, keep yourselves from idols.
1 John 5:21
