Praying from 1 John 4:16 relating to Love, Faith, Abiding in God.

Dear God,

I thank you for the love that you have shown me. I know and believe in the love which you have for me. You are love, and I want to remain in that love. I pray that I may always remain in you, and that you may remain in me. I claim the promise that if I remain in love, I remain in you, and you remain in me. Help me to love others as you have loved me, and to always remember that you are with me, guiding me and loving me every step of the way.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.
1 John 4:16

This is a Promise. The verse promises that if one remains in love, they remain in God and God remains in them.
