Praying from 1 John 4:13 relating to Spirit, Abiding, Assurance

Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that we can know that we remain in you and you in us because you have given us your Spirit. I claim this promise today and ask that your Spirit would fill me and guide me in all that I do. Help me to remain in you and to live a life that is pleasing to you. Thank you for your love and grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: By this we know that we remain in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
1 John 4:13

This is a Promise. The verse is assuring the reader that they remain in God and God remains in them because they have been given the gift of the Holy Spirit.
