Dear God, we come before you today asking for your guidance and wisdom in our marriages. Help us to remember the importance of showing affection to our spouses, as it is owed to them. May we never take our partners for granted, but instead, cherish and love them as you have commanded us to do. Give us the strength and courage to put our spouse’s needs before our own, and to always seek to serve and honor them. May our marriages be a reflection of your love and grace, and may we always strive to grow closer to you and to each other. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Verse: Let the husband give his wife the affection owed her, and likewise also the wife her husband.
