Praying from Titus 1:6 relating to Marriage, Family, Conduct.
Dear Lord, we come before you today with humble hearts, seeking your guidance and wisdom. We pray that you would help us to live blameless lives, and to be faithful and committed to our spouses. May our children also believe in you and live lives that honor you. We ask that you would protect them from any accusations of loose or unruly behavior, and that they would grow up to be strong and faithful followers of you. Help us to be good examples to them, and to lead them in the ways of righteousness. We thank you for your love and grace, and we pray that you would continue to guide us in all that we do. Amen.
Verse: if anyone is blameless, the husband of one wife, having children who believe, who are not accused of loose or unruly behavior.
Titus 1:6
This is a Command. The verse is giving qualifications for those who can serve as overseers in the church. The command is for the reader to strive to meet these qualifications if they desire to serve in that role.
