Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that my perishable body will become imperishable and my mortal body will put on immortality. I claim this promise for myself and ask that you strengthen me in my faith and help me to live a life that is pleasing to you. May I always remember that my true home is with you in heaven, and may I eagerly await the day when I will be transformed into a glorified body that will never perish. Thank you for your love and grace, and for the hope that you have given me through your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
