Praying from 1 Corinthians 14:21. Themes: Language barrier, Rejection by God

Dear Lord,

As it is written in the law, you have promised to speak to your people through men of strange languages and the lips of strangers. I claim this promise today and ask that you speak to me in a way that I can understand and receive.

Even if I have been stubborn and unwilling to listen in the past, I pray that you will open my heart and mind to hear your voice. Help me to recognize your message, even if it comes from an unexpected source.

Thank you for your faithfulness and for always finding a way to reach your people. I trust in your promise and look forward to hearing from you.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

This is a Promise. The verse is stating that even if God speaks to the people through men of strange languages or strangers, they will not listen.
