Dear Lord, we come before you today with the verse from Acts 19:38-39 on our hearts. We pray that if anyone has a matter against another, they will seek justice through the proper channels. May they bring their grievances before the courts and proconsuls, rather than taking matters into their own hands. We ask for your guidance and wisdom in all legal proceedings, that justice may be served and peace may prevail. Help us to trust in your sovereignty and to seek your will in all things. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Verse: If therefore Demetrius and the craftsmen who are with him have a matter against anyone, the courts are open and there are proconsuls. Let them press charges against one another.
Acts 19:38
This is a Command. The verse is commanding Demetrius and the craftsmen to press charges against anyone they have a matter against in the courts.
