Prayer based on Acts 1:3. Themes: Resurrection, Kingdom of God.
Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that you have shown yourself alive after you suffered, by many proofs, appearing to your disciples over a period of forty days and speaking about your Kingdom. I claim this promise for myself today, that you are alive and present in my life, and that you will continue to reveal yourself to me through your word and your Holy Spirit. Help me to seek your Kingdom above all else, and to live my life in a way that honors you. Thank you for your love and faithfulness, and for the hope that we have in you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
