Dear Lord, I claim the promise that you have given us in John 12:45, “He who sees me sees him who sent me.” May I always seek to see you in all that I do and in all those around me. Help me to recognize your presence in every situation and to reflect your love and grace to those I encounter. Thank you for the assurance that when I see you, I am also seeing the Father. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

This is a Promise. The verse is a statement made by Jesus that whoever sees him also sees God the Father who sent him. It is a promise that Jesus is the perfect representation of God and that by knowing him, we can know God.
