Praying from 1 John 3:5 relating to Redemption, Sinlessness.
Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise that you have revealed yourself to take away our sins, and that no sin is in you. I thank you for the sacrifice you made on the cross to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. I pray that you would continue to work in my life, removing any sin that may be hindering my relationship with you. Help me to walk in your ways and to live a life that is pleasing to you. Thank you for your grace and mercy, and for the promise of eternal life through your son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
Verse: You know that he was revealed to take away our sins, and no sin is in him.
1 John 3:5
This is a Promise. The verse is stating that Jesus was revealed to take away our sins and that he himself is without sin. It is not giving a command to the reader.
