Praying from Hebrews 12:15 relating to Grace, Bitterness, Warning.
Dear God, please help me to be vigilant and watchful, always looking carefully to ensure that I do not fall short of your grace. Protect me from the roots of bitterness that can spring up and trouble me, causing me to stumble and fall. Help me to stay rooted in your love and grace, so that I may be a source of light and hope to those around me. May I never be a stumbling block to others, but always a beacon of your love and mercy. Amen.
Verse: looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you and many be defiled by it,
Hebrews 12:15
This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to be careful and watchful, making sure that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no root of bitterness springs up and causes trouble and defilement.
