Praying from 1 Corinthians 14:34. Themes: Submission, Gender roles.
Dear Lord, we come before you today with humble hearts, seeking your guidance and wisdom. We ask that you help us to understand and follow your word, especially when it comes to the role of women in the church. We pray that wives will be quiet in the assemblies, as you have commanded, and that they will submit to their husbands as the law also says. May they find strength and comfort in your love and grace, and may they be a shining example of your goodness and mercy to all those around them. We ask this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: Let the wives be quiet in the assemblies, for it has not been permitted for them to be talking except in submission, as the law also says,
1 Corinthians 14:34
This is a Command. The verse commands wives to be quiet in assemblies and only speak in submission.
