Praying from Ephesians 5:25 relating to Love, Sacrifice, Unity
Dear Lord, I pray that husbands everywhere may love their wives with the same sacrificial love that you showed for the church. May they be willing to give themselves up for their wives, just as you gave yourself up for us. Help them to cherish and honor their wives, and to always put their needs before their own. May their love be a reflection of your love, and may it bring joy and peace to their marriages. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for her,

This is a Command. The verse commands husbands to love their wives in the same way that Christ loved the church and sacrificed himself for her.
