Prayer based on Proverbs 11:7. Themes: Hope, Power, Wickedness
Dear Lord, I claim the promise that when a wicked man dies, hope perishes, and expectation of power comes to nothing. I pray that you would remove any wickedness from my heart and guide me in the path of righteousness. May my hope be in you alone, and may my expectation of power come from your strength and not my own. Thank you for the assurance that evil will not prevail and that your justice will ultimately prevail. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: When a wicked man dies, hope perishes, and expectation of power comes to nothing.
Proverbs 11:7
This is a Promise. The verse is stating that when a wicked man dies, any hope or expectation of power that they may have had also dies with them.
