Father God, I thank You for the promise that if my husband passes away, I am free from the law and no longer considered an adulteress if I am joined to another man. I trust in Your word and believe that You will fulfill this promise in my life. I pray that You will give me the strength and courage to face any challenges that may come my way. Help me to always honor You in my relationships and to seek Your guidance in all things. Thank You for Your faithfulness and for the hope that You give me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: So then if, while the husband lives, she is joined to another man, she would be called an adulteress. But if the husband dies, she is free from the law, so that she is no adulteress, though she is joined to another man.
Romans 7:3
This is a Promise. The verse promises that if a woman’s husband dies, she is free from the law and can remarry without being considered an adulteress.
