Praying from Romans 5:16. Themes: Sin, Judgment, Free Gift

Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise that the gift of salvation is not as through one who sinned. I thank you that the judgment came by one to condemnation, but the free gift of your grace followed many trespasses to justification. I confess my sins and ask for your forgiveness, knowing that through your gift of salvation, I am justified and made righteous in your sight. I pray that you would continue to guide me on the path of righteousness and help me to live a life that honors you. Thank you for your love and mercy, and for the gift of salvation that is freely given to all who believe in you. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: The gift is not as through one who sinned; for the judgment came by one to condemnation, but the free gift followed many trespasses to justification.
Romans 5:16

This is a Promise. The verse is stating that although judgment came through one person’s sin, the free gift of justification is available to many despite their trespasses.
