Father God, I thank you for the promise that you have given me. Help me to be like Abraham, who did not weaken in faith despite his physical limitations. I declare that I will not consider my own body or the circumstances around me, but I will trust in your promises. Just as you gave Abraham a child in his old age, I believe that you will fulfill your promises in my life. I declare that my faith will not be weakened, but it will be strengthened as I trust in you. Thank you for the promise that you have given me, and I claim it in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Verse: Without being weakened in faith, he didn’t consider his own body, already having been worn out, ( he being about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.
Romans 4:19
This is a Promise. The verse is describing how Abraham did not let his physical limitations weaken his faith in God’s promise to make him a father of many nations, even though he and Sarah were both very old and Sarah was unable to conceive.
