Dear Lord Jesus, I thank you for the promise that I can boast in you in all things pertaining to God. I claim this promise today and ask that you help me to always remember that my strength and confidence come from you alone. May I never boast in my own abilities or accomplishments, but always give you the glory and honor for all that you have done in my life. Thank you for your grace and mercy, and for the privilege of being able to boast in you. In your precious name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: I have therefore my boasting in Christ Jesus in things pertaining to God.
Romans 15:17

This is a Promise. The verse is stating that the author’s boasting is in Christ Jesus in things pertaining to God. It is not a command to the reader.
