Praying from Romans 12:20. Themes: Love, Forgiveness, Revenge

Dear God, help me to love my enemies and to show kindness to those who have wronged me. Give me the strength to feed them when they are hungry and give them a drink when they are thirsty. May my actions be a reflection of your love and grace, and may it soften their hearts towards me. Help me to forgive as you have forgiven me, and may my kindness towards my enemies heap coals of fire on their heads, leading them to repentance and reconciliation. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: Therefore“If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.”
Romans 12:20

This is a Command. The verse instructs the reader to feed and give drink to their enemy, with the promise that doing so will result in “heaping coals of fire on his head.”
