Prayer based on Psalms 88:9. Themes: Grief, Prayer, Dependence
of Psalm 34:18.
Dear Yahweh, my eyes are dim from grief and my heart is heavy with sorrow. But I know that you are near to the brokenhearted and that you save those who are crushed in spirit. I claim the promise of Psalm 34:18 that you are close to me in my pain and that you will comfort me. I call on you daily, Lord, and I spread out my hands to you, knowing that you are the only one who can heal my brokenness. Thank you for your love and your faithfulness, and for the promise that you will never leave me or forsake me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: My eyes are dim from grief. I have called on you daily, Yahweh. I have spread out my hands to you.
