Dear God, I come before you humbly and acknowledge that your wrath has indeed been heavy upon me. I have been afflicted by the waves of life, and I have struggled to keep my head above water. But I claim your promise of love and mercy, knowing that you are a God who is slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. I trust in your grace and your forgiveness, and I ask that you would lift me up and carry me through this difficult time. Help me to see your hand at work in my life, and to trust in your goodness and your faithfulness. Thank you for your love, your mercy, and your grace. Amen.
