Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise that you will be my shepherd according to the integrity of your heart. I pray that you will guide me by the skillfulness of your hands, leading me on the path of righteousness and protecting me from harm. Help me to trust in your guidance and to follow your lead, knowing that you have my best interests at heart. May I always be obedient to your will and may my life bring glory to your name. Thank you for your faithfulness and for the promise of your guidance. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: So he was their shepherd according to the integrity of his heart, and guided them by the skillfulness of his hands.
Psalms 78:72

This is a Promise. The verse is describing the qualities of a shepherd who guided his people with integrity and skillfulness. There is no direct command given to the reader.
