Dear Lord, we pray that the generation to come may know you and your love. May the children who are yet to be born arise and tell their children about your goodness and faithfulness. May they pass on the knowledge of your grace and mercy to future generations. Help us to be faithful in sharing your truth with those around us, so that the next generation may know you and follow you. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Psalms 78:6

This is a Command. The verse is commanding the reader to ensure that future generations know and pass on the knowledge to their own children.
