Dear God, please help us to avoid being contentious and causing division within your assemblies. May we always strive for unity and peace, following the customs and teachings that you have set before us. Guide us in our interactions with others, that we may show love and respect to all. Amen.

Verse: But if any man seems to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither do God’s assemblies.
1 Corinthians 11:16

This is a Command. The verse is instructing the reader not to be contentious and to follow the customs of God’s assemblies.
