Prayer based on Psalms 78:21. Themes: Anger, Judgment, Punishment.
Dear Yahweh,
I come before you today claiming the promise that you have heard my cries and prayers. I know that you are a God who listens and cares for his people. I trust in your faithfulness and your love for me.
I pray that you would kindle a fire within me, a fire of passion and zeal for your kingdom. May my heart burn with love for you and for others. May I be a light in the darkness, shining your love and truth to those around me.
I also pray that you would help me to turn away from anything that would anger you. May I live a life that is pleasing to you, and may I always seek to do your will.
Thank you for your promise to hear and answer my prayers. I trust in your goodness and your mercy, and I know that you will always be with me.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
