Prayer based on Psalms 69:9. Themes: Sacrifice, Zeal, Reproach

Dear Lord, I claim the promise that the zeal of your house consumes me. May my heart burn with passion for your kingdom and may I always seek to honor and glorify you in all that I do. I also claim the promise that the reproaches of those who reproach you have fallen on me. May I be willing to stand up for you and defend your name, even in the face of opposition and persecution. Help me to be a faithful and courageous witness for you, always pointing others to your love and grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
