Dear Lord, I come before you with a heavy heart, burdened by the weight of my sins. I confess that I have fallen short of your glory and have transgressed against you. But I take comfort in your promise that you have atoned for our transgressions. I claim this promise today and ask for your forgiveness and mercy. Wash me clean with your precious blood and help me to live a life that is pleasing to you. Thank you for your love and grace that covers all my sins. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
