Prayer based on Psalms 39:9. Themes: Submission, Trust, Sovereignty.

Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise that you have given us in Isaiah 58:9. I confess that I have been silent and have not spoken up for your truth and righteousness. But I claim your promise that when I cry out to you, you will answer me. You will say, “Here am I.” Lord, I ask that you give me the courage and boldness to speak up for you and to proclaim your truth to those around me. Help me to be a light in this dark world and to bring glory to your name. Thank you for your promise and for your faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: I was mute. I didn’t open my mouth, because you did it.
Psalms 39:9

This is a Promise. The verse is stating that the speaker did not speak because God was already taking action.
