Dear Yahweh, my God, I come before you today with a humble heart and ask that you do not forsake me. Please do not be far from me, but instead, draw near to me and guide me on my journey. I need your presence in my life, and I trust that you will never leave me nor forsake me. Thank you for your love and faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Psalms 38:21

This is a Command. The verse is a plea for God to not abandon the speaker. The command is to not forsake God and to ask for His presence.
